The Directors and Instructors at IDMI are constantly involved in competing and travel nationally and internationally to do so, which in turn provides the most complete and up to date instruction of drum major styles and flourishes. The staff at IDMI are always in demand to host clinics and seminars locally and nationally.
There are currently almost a dozen instructors teaching with IDMI and range in areas from California, USA to Northern Ireland, UK. Please contact us for the instructor nearest you or if you are interested in online instruction.
Instructor Highlights
Parade Band Competitions: IDMI instructors include 1st place winners from the Arcadia Festival of Bands, Mt. Carmel Tournament of Bands, Mira Mesa Band Review, Chula Vista Band Review, Maytime Band Review, Chino Band Review, Sherman Oakes Band Review, and have appeared on the Tournament of Roses Parade.
Solo Competitions: Almost all IDMI instructors are former California State Grand Championships and have won multiple Masters Divisions in their respective styles.
Scottish Highland Games Competitions:
Instructors include Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association 1st Place World Champions in both Juvenile and Adult Divisions, World Championships Finalists, Best Overseas Champions, Winners at the European Championships, British Championships, Scottish Championships, All-Ireland Championships, North American Championship, MidWest Pipe Band Association Champions, and Western United States Pipe Band Association Champions in both Juvenile and Adult Divisions.
